Last week Wednesday, 19th July 2023, the Council of NGOs, Copperbelt Forum successfully conducted elections to elect the Provincial Chairperson following the election of the National Chairperson of the Council, Dr. Roy Mwilu. Dr Roy Mwilu was the Copperbelt Provincial Chairperson before he was elected as the chairperson for the Council.
Organisations representing the different districts on the Copperbelt Province met at Copperbelt Health and Education Project (CHEP). During the meeting organisations went to poll and elected Mrs. Derbra Zama, Acting Executive Director of Copperbelt Health and Education Project as the Provincial Chair Person. Mrs Zama will be assisted by Mr. Mwamachiya Greenwell, Operations Manager, Faith Children’s Village as the Provincial Vice Chairperson.
